Christmas Snow 2004
A white Christmas, was the coolest thing you have ever seen! Down here in Edinburg/McAllen I had 2 inches of snow. After the storm past at about 3:00 am the sky cleared. The temperature plummeted to 23 F. It went down briefly though. A blanket of ice and snow insulated most of the plants. Yesterday we went down to 26 F and had frost. You can smell rotting vegetation in the air. It takes hours, days, weeks, and even months for damage show up. I will say that while it was happening it was magical. It was like winning the lottery. Who would have thought it would snow ? I have some beautiful pictures. I'll let you know the damage report later.
